Strange Cargo

This stuff reminds me of when we got a big box delivered to our house years ago unexpectedly. We hadn't a clue who it was from or what was in it, but it weighed a ton. After opening it and puzzling over it's hard, grey mass for a few minutes we realised it was a huge salted ham. My granny in London - my dad's mum - had sent it from Kerry and wanted him to send it on to her. Ham, shandy and red lemonade are three things I associate with my granny. And her calling us her "puddins".
