The Dingle shop - with their lovely big dog who roams the street enticing customers

I tried Murphy's ice-cream when I was away last weekend and highly recommend their stuff. They have two shops in Dublin now - and what's great is they let you taste loads without you feeling guilty. I tried the Sea Salt, Whisky and Brown Bread flavours and got a cone with Rum & Raisin and Burnt Caramel. I didn't think I was an ice-cream person but these are amazing. There's loads of recipes on their blog - I think I might invest in an ice-cream machine at some stage but for the time being I'll be popping into their shops in town.
